Ms Genny has been integral in helping my children grow and develop the skills to be good readers and writers while making it really fun and engaging. When Ms Genny started teaching my daughter, she was not reading at the same level as her classmates. Ms Genny was so patient and taught my daughter how to use more structure in reading and recognizing words and sounds that made it easy and interesting for her. With Ms Genny's help she was able to not only read at her grade level, but was already into the next grade level by end of year. Ms Genny also teaches my son, who has some challenges verbalizing and writing about his thoughts in a comprehensive way. He too has made great progress, and has grown to love to read about history. Ms Genny is able to bring interesting methods, topics and activities so that my kids actually look forward to seeing her each week, it's never boring!!
